Manuel Enriles | Co-Founder & President

Manuel Enriles is Co-founder and current President of Gibraltarians for a Multilingual Society. The retired Head of Modern Foreign Languages at Bayside Comprehensive School undertook pioneering research into Gibraltarian English for his MA in Phonetics thesis at University College London. His work has been cited by researchers writing about language in Gibraltar. Ever since he began his study of Romance Linguistics in 1986 he has strived to analyse Llanito and throughout his teaching career has aimed to create awareness about it among his students.
